Training for educators
Practical approaches teachers and tutors can use every day, moving beyond awareness into adaptive communication, expectations and classroom support that meets neurodivergent pupils' needs.
At a glance
- Half-day workshop
- Onsite or online
- For school, college and trust staff
- Adaptable to your setting and age range
The proposed training will move beyond general awareness and focus on practical approaches that teachers and tutors can use in everyday school situations. It will explore how neurodivergent needs may present differently between pupils, including when needs are less visible, and how staff can adapt communication, expectations and classroom support accordingly. A scoping call will take place before delivery to identify priority areas, relevant pupil profiles and real school-based scenarios. This will allow the session to reflect pupils' EHCPs, the school environment and the situations staff are managing day to day.

How we design a programme
We listen before we write a single slide
- 01
Scoping conversation
We start by understanding your organisation, workforce, working environments and what you want people to take away.
- 02
Real scenarios gathered
We invite anonymised workplace scenarios so the session addresses the situations your people are actually encountering.
- 03
Tailored delivery
Content, language and examples are adapted to your sector, including head office, remote, frontline and field-based teams.
- 04
Next steps and follow-on
Sessions close with practical actions and a clear path forward, with optional follow-on sessions to embed the learning.
